Geographical position
The village of Kershal of the municipality “ Pelym Urban District ” is located 13 kilometers west-southwest of the village of Pelym , in a forest area on the left bank of the Kershal River (the right tributary of the Pelym River ). In the village is the railway station Kershal of the Sverdlovsk railway direction Ivdel - Priobye. In the vicinity of the village, 1 kilometer to the north lies the Urengoy-Center gas pipeline [2] .
