Geographical position
The village of Gorny of the Garinsky urban district municipality is located 9 kilometers (11 kilometers by road) northeast of the village of Gary , in a forest area on the right bank of the Sosva River, at the source of the Chenga River (left tributary of the Lintovka River). In the vicinity of the village, 0.5 km to the south-east is Lake Popova [2] .
