The Reminder is the third studio album by Canadian singer Feist , released April 23, 2007 in the US and Canada [12] . Grammy nominations and two awards at the Juno Awards (2008) ceremony in the categories Pop Album of the Year and Album of the Year [13] .

History
The album debuted at Billboard 200 in the US charts at No. 16 with a print run of 31,000 copies in its first week of release [14] , and debuted at No. 2 in Canada with a print run of over 18,000 copies [15] . By July 25, 2011, the circulation was 729,000 copies in the United States [16] .
On November 25, 2008, a deluxe edition on two discs was released, including 9 bonus tracks on the second disc [17] . The sixth track of the album, entitled "Sealion", is an adaptation of the song by singer Nina Simone ( Broadway-Blues-Ballads , 1964). The original name was “See Line Woman” [18] .
Rewards
The album and singer Feist herself were nominated for a Grammy Award in the categories of Best Pop Album and Best New Artist . In addition, the main hit from the album, the song “ 1234 ” received 2 nominations in the categories of Best Female Pop Vocal and Best Video Clip . At the Juno Awards (2008) ceremony, the album received 2 awards in the Pop Album of the Year and Album of the Year categories, and the song “1234” won the Juno Award in the Best Single of the Year category in Canada [13] .
Rolling Stone magazine included the album in its list of Best Albums of 2007 (No. 35 on the list of “Top 50 Albums of 2007”) [19] . On July 10, 2007, the album was included as a finalist on the Polaris Music Prize shortlist [20] [21] [22] . Journalist Kaleefa Saneh from The New York Times called the album The Reminder the best on its list (No. 1) [23] , and journalist John Pareles the second best album of the year (No. 2 in his “10 Best Albums of 2007”) [24] .
