The concert of masters of Ukrainian art is a Soviet musical film concert directed by Boris Barnet , filmed in 1952 at the Kiev film studio . The premiere took place on May 11, 1952 [1] [2] .

Story
A musical concert film created by director Boris Barnet according to the canons of mass art of the Stalin era . The leitmotif of the film is “Song of Stalin” by composer Mark Fradkin to verses by Mikhail Isakovsky performed by the consolidated choir, soloist Mikhail Grishko , Ukrainian folk song “Zakuvala tsiva siva zozulya” performed by the soloists of the State Honored Chapel of Bandura Players of the Ukrainian SSR , ode to the opening of the Volga-Don Canal ...
The production is performed by prominent Ukrainian Soviet opera singers , famous dance groups, soloists and ensembles: Boris Gmyrya , Ivan Patorzhinsky , Maria Litvinenko-Volgemut , Larisa Rudenko , Elizaveta Chavdar [1] .
Sounds of arias from operas : “ Zaporozhets beyond the Danube ”, “ Boris Godunov ”, “ Taras Bulba ”, “Young Guard”.
Presented are scenes from the ballet Maroussia Boguslavka , the Ukrainian national dance Hopak performed by the State Dance Ensemble of the Ukrainian SSR staged by Pavel Virsky [3] ...
Until Stalin's death, all national governments were filming such concerts.
When the leadership decided to create this film, the task was to show the best forces of Ukrainian art — vocal, opera, ballet.- Shulamith Tsybulnik [4] .
