Geography
The village is located on the Bula River, 26 kilometers northwest of the city of Buinsk .
History
The village was founded in the XVII century.
In the XVIII - the first half of the XIX century, residents belonged to the category of state peasants . They were engaged in agriculture, cattle breeding. In 1859, there was a mosque in Alkeevo, in 1870 - 3 windmills and 3 grain-breakers.
At the beginning of the 20th century, 2 windmills, a manufactory and 4 small shops functioned here. During this period, the land allotment of the rural community was 1381 acres. Until 1920, the village was part of the Alkeevsky volost of the Tetyushsky district of the Kazan province . Since 1920, as part of the Tetyush canton of the TASSR .
