Ivan Ivanovich Ryabyshev ( November 8, 1906 , the village of Tolstikovo , now Melenkovsky District , Vladimir Region - December 23, 1988 , Vyksa , Gorky Region ) - the foreman of the Red Army , a participant in the Great Patriotic War and the full holder of the Order of Glory .

Biography

Born on November 8, 1906 in the village of Tolstikovo (now Melenkovsky district , Vladimir region ) in a peasant family. He graduated from grade 4 of a rural school, after which he got a job as a carpenter in a local collective farm . In 1927 he was drafted into the Red Army . Demobilized in 1929 [1] .

The second time he was drafted into the Red Army on June 29, 1941. He graduated from a three-month training at the school of signalmen; at the forefront - since October 1941. He served as part of the 593rd anti-tank artillery regiment. He served as a telegraph operator, and in May 1942 he was appointed commander of the communications department. He participated in the defense of Moscow , in the Battle of Kursk and in the liberation of Belarus . For these battles he was awarded the medal "For Courage" [1] .

On July 29, 1944, during a battle near the village of Korytsin, the Bialystok region (now the Grodno region of Belarus ), as commander of a communications department, Ivan Ryabyshev fixed more than a dozen damage to the telephone cable. On July 31 of the same year, Ivan Ryabyshev laid a line of communication between artillery batteries and the command post of the regiment. September 29, 1944 was awarded the Order of Glory 3rd degree [1] .

On January 21, 1945, during a battle near the settlement of Pyasechna ( Poland ), Ivan Ryabyshev, under enemy fire, maintained uninterrupted communication between the firing positions of the batteries and the command post; during the battle Ryabyshev seven times went on the line in order to eliminate damage. On February 22 of the same year he was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree [1] .

On February 21, 1945, during the battles during the crossing of the Oder near the village of Chersk ( Poland ), a detachment under the command of Ivan Ryabyshev, under enemy fire, established telephone communications with the reconnaissance of the regiment, which was located on the other side of the Oder. On May 15, 1945 he was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree, becoming the full holder of the Order of Glory [1] .

Demobilized in 1945 with the rank of foreman . After demobilization, he lived in the city of Vyksa (now Nizhny Novgorod Region ), where he worked at a bread factory. He died on December 23, 1988 and was buried in a cemetery in the village of Borkovka near Vyksa [1] .
