Club career
Diego Alenda, who was born in Santiago de Compostela , the capital of Galicia , began his career as a football player at the Celta club, signing a five-year contract with him on August 11, 2015 [1] . On September 20 of the same year, he made his debut for the club’s second team as part of Segunda B , in a home match against Arandina [2] .
On December 5, 2015, Diego Alendé made his debut in La Liga , substituting at the beginning of the second half of the guest match against Betis [3] . He also played in two Celta matches as part of the 2015/16 Spanish Cup .
