Charles Kenneth Williams ( Eng. Charles Kenneth "CK" Williams , November 4, 1936 - September 20, 2015 ) is an American poet , critic and translator. Professor. Laureate of the Pulitzer Prize (2000) and almost all major prizes awarded “for poetry”. The 2012 film " Tar " is based on his biography and works. Born and died in New Jersey.

Personal life
Married to Catherine Mauger . The son of Jed Williams is a notable artist, the daughter of Jesse Williams Burns from his first marriage became a writer. C.K. Williams lived for six months in Princeton, and spent the rest of his time in Normandy in France.
