Monument to the service dog Antei - the first monument to the service dog in the USSR , erected in 1983 in the Pervomaisky district of Novosibirsk at the Inskaya railway station within the territory of the kennel of service dog breeding of the Novosibirsk detachment of departmental guard of railway transport . Dedicated to a male dog named "Antei" who served for 13 years in the militarized guard of the USSR Ministry of Railways under the direction of the guide dog guide Ivan Pavlovich Litvinov. With its help, more than 100 criminals were detained and 62 crimes were uncovered.

The monument is made in the form of a pedestal on which the dog’s head (bust) is located. On the pedestal of the monument is written:
“Antei is a faithful friend in the struggle for the preservation of socialist property in 1968-1980. With its help, more than 100 criminals were detained and 62 crimes were discovered. ”
Antei was born on December 20, 1966. The breed is an East European Shepherd . The color was black (the dark back, with which the black color evenly falls to the sides, while the paws, face and stomach are red). Nicknames of his parents: Karay and Rocket. The dog was accepted into the service of the militarized guard of the Ministry of Railways of the USSR in 1967. He performed at cynological sport competitions , collected 18 awards at tournaments and exhibitions of various levels. During the detentions, Antei repeatedly saved the life of his guide. He died in an elderly age for a dog in his native kennel on Inskaya.
In April 1983, the head of the West Siberian Railway Ivan Trubnikov ordered to perpetuate the memory of Antei [1] .
