European Youth Football Championship 2019

The UEFA Under-21 Championship 2019 European Youth Football Championship 2019 was the 22nd tournament draw. The final part was held in Italy and San Marino from June 16 to June 30, 2019 [1] . Players born after January 1, 1996 were able to take part in the tournament. This championship also became the qualifying for the football tournament at the Summer Olympics 2020 .

Qualifying Tournament

In the qualifying tournament, which began in March 2017 and will end in November 2018, 54 teams take part, which were divided into 9 groups of six teams, where they will play each other in one match at home and away. Nine group winners go directly to the final stage, and the four best teams among the runners-up, play two trips to the final part in the play-offs. The Italian national team automatically qualifies as the host of the tournament, but San Marino does not automatically qualify.
