Biography
From the mid-1970s to the early 1980s, she was one of the leading chess players in Italy. She won the Italian women 's chess championships five times (1974, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1981). She represented Italy at three chess olympiads (1976, 1980-1982), where she won the gold ( 1982 ) medal on the first board in the individual competition. She later completed her career as a chess player.
She received the title of Doctor of Science in Electronics at the Technical University of Milan and the title of Doctor of Science in Computer Science at Stanford University . She taught at the university in Udine . Since 1993, he is a professor at the Technical University of Milan [1] [2] .
