Construction
Initially, the ship's hull (serial number 113) was laid down on May 31, 1941 at the factory number 112 " Krasnoye Sormovo " in Gorky . At the beginning of 1943, the hull of the boat (along with five more hulls of the same series) was transported by rail to the factory number 402 in Molotovsk and received serial number 306. To organize the construction of boats of the XV series at the factory number 402, a submarine shipbuilding department was formed under the leadership of G. M. Trusov . Due to lack of materials, special tools and skilled workers, launching on the water occurred only on September 24, 1946 , and the acceptance certificate was signed on August 14, 1947 . [one]
