History
The Pyriatinsky bread products plant was established in 1963 in accordance with the seventh five-year plan for the development of the national economy of the USSR and in Soviet times was among the leading enterprises of the city [2] .
After the independence of Ukraine, the plant was transferred to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Ukraine .
In March 1995, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine added PSC to the list of enterprises whose privatization is prohibited due to their national importance [3] .
After the establishment of the state-owned joint-stock company Khleb Ukrainy in August 1996, the plant became a subsidiary of SJSC Khlib Ukrainy [4] , after the establishment of the State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine on August 11, 2010, the plant was incorporated into the enterprises of the state food grades factory [5] .
In 2013, a grain drying unit was commissioned at the plant (the total cost of the work performed was 3.6 million hryvnia ). In 2014, the plant was among the leading enterprises of the Pyryatinsky district [6] .
In May 2016, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine submitted for consideration the possibility of privatizing the plant [7] .
Current State
The main functions of the company are the storage and processing of grain. The total capacity of the warehouses of the plant is 39 thousand tons, the processing capacity provides the possibility of producing 33.5 thousand tons of high-quality and wallpaper flour per year.
