Biography
A pupil of the Kirov-Chepetsk hockey team “Olympia” (the first coach A. D. Kulyabin ), in which he began his playing career. After being drafted in 1977, he played in the Soviet army in army clubs - first in the SKA MVO, which played in the first league of the USSR Championship (based in Lipetsk before 1978, then in Kalinin ), and in 1979-1981 in the SKA Major League team ( Leningrad ) . In the 1981/1982 season, he represented the Leningrad team of the Military Institute of Physical Culture, VIFK , who played in the second league.
From 1982 to 1987, he played in the teams of the first league of the USSR championship - the Saratov “Crystal” , the Leningrad “Izhorets” and the Cherepovets “Metallurg” .
The junior team of the USSR is a bronze medalist of the 1977 European Championship held in Germany .
