History
- The station opened on January 31, 1903 as part of the Anver - Alexander Dumas launch site. Until September 13, 1970, the station was called "Bagnolet" along a street located north of the metro station. The renaming was associated with the elimination of confusion that arose during the construction of Port de Bagnolet station on line 3. The modern name is associated with Alexander Dumas Street, located south of the station.
- In 2016, the station took part in the April Fools ’campaign, during which it changed its name to“ Three Musketeers ”for one day [2] .
- The passenger flow at the station at the entrance in 2011, according to RATP , amounted to 3,926,266 people [3] . In 2013, this indicator slightly decreased to 3,919,412 passengers (127th place in terms of passenger input in the Paris Metro) [4] .
