Biography

Born on April 27, 1960 in Lviv, Ukrainian SSR.

In 1986 he graduated from the Lviv Institute of Physical Culture (now the Lviv State University of Physical Education ). He played in the USSR national archery team in 1983-1992. He represented the sports societies of the city of Lviv - " Vanguard " (1979-1986), SKA (1986-94), "Gart" (1995-2003). His trainers were O. Ilyashenko , M. Havelko , B. Bilenko . [one]

Since 1995, Ya. E. Gusak is a senior lecturer at the Lviv Medical University , and at the same time is an archery coach at the Gart Student Club. [2] Since 2005 - coach of the Paralympic team of archers of Ukraine. [1] At the Lviv Medical University, trains archer Bogdan Kishchak. [3] [4]

Sporting Achievements

  • European champion (Denmark, 1985 and Greece, 1989) in the team event. [five]
  • Silver medalist of the European Championship (Gretsіya 1989) in the individual competition.
  • Owner of European Cups in personal (1987, 1989, 1991) and team (1987) standings.
