Cuahinikuilapa ( Spanish: Cuajinicuilapa ) is a municipality in Mexico , the state of Guerrero , with an administrative center in the city of the same name . The population according to the 2010 census was 25,922 people.

Content
General information
The name Cuajinicuilapa from the Nahuatl language can be translated as Inga , growing on the banks of the river [3] .
The area of the municipality is 632 km², which is 0.99% of the state’s area [4] . In the north, it borders with other municipalities of Guerrero : Asu and Ometepec , in the east and south with another state of Mexico - Oaxaca , and in the west it is washed by the waters of the Pacific Ocean [3] .

According to statistics from 2000, the working population is occupied by sectors of the economy in the following proportions: agriculture, livestock and fishing - 55.8%, industry and construction - 11.2%, services and tourism - 30.7% [4] .

According to 2010 statistics, the infrastructure is developed as follows [4] :

- water disposal: 68.3%.

The main attractions of the municipality are beaches and public gardens [3] .
