The Alienist is an American psychological thriller television series based on the American writer Caleb Carr . The premiere of the ten-series series took place on January 22, 2018 [2] . On August 17, 2018, the management of TNT television ordered the continuation of the series, which will be called the “Angel of Darkness” and will be based on the book of the same name.

Story
1896 year. Newspaper illustrator John Moore ( Luke Evans ), along with an Alienist ( psychiatrist ) Dr. Laszlo Kreizler ( Daniel Bruhl ) and the first female police officer, Sarah Howard ( Dakota Fanning ) are investigating a series of brutal murders in New York .
