Club career

He acted as an extreme defender and midfielder. At a serious level, he took up football at Columbia University in the USA , where he played for the student team. Gradually Fitzpatrick managed to attract the attention of American professional teams. Having overcome the lower divisions, the Trinidadean ended up in MLS . There he spent one season at Real Salt Lake Club. The footballer did not manage to gain a foothold at a high level, and he soon returned to his homeland. Fitzpatrick completed his team in Trinidad teams.

Team

For the national team of Trinidad and Tobago, the player made his debut in 2004. In his first match, he scored against Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in the qualifying match for the World Cup [1] . After some time, he became one of its main players. However, in 2006, Fitzpatrick lost his place in the national team due to which he did not go to the World Cup in Germany . He spent his last match for the Trinidad in January 2007. In total, Leslie Fitzpatrick spent 26 games for the national team and scored one goal.
