The administrative center is the city of Komsomolsk .

Geography

The border of the Ivanovo and Yaroslavl regions in the Komsomol district near the village of Autumn

The Komsomolsky district borders in the north with the Yaroslavl and Kostroma regions, in the west with the Ilyinsky district, in the south with Teykovsky , in the east with Furmanovsky and Ivanovsky . The rivers Uvod and Ukhtohma originate in the region.

The Komsomol district is rich in forests and lakes and is perfect for lovers of mushroom, fish and berry hunting.

There are deposits of peat , clay , sand - gravel mixtures.

The area is inhabited by moose, beavers, wild boars, foxes, hares, squirrels, capercaillie, black grouse, cranes, grouse, ducks, geese, swans.

History

On June 20, 1932, the center of the Pissovsky district from the working village of Pissovo was transferred to the working village of Komsomolsky , and on November 1, 1932, by a resolution of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee, the Pissovsky district was renamed Komsomolsky . By the same resolution, the Tyugaevsky village council of the Gavrilov-Yamsky district was transferred to the district . On August 1, 1933 village councils in the area of the network was as follows: Brazinsky, Grobischevsky, Gubtsevsky, Danilovsky, Demetrius, Ivankovskoe, Ivashkovskaya, Krasnovskii, Kuznetsovsky, Kulebervsky, Milovsky, Mikheyevsky, Mytishchi, Nicholas, Svetikovsky, Sorohtsky Sretensky, drill-Gorsky, Tyugaevsky, Shatrovsky, Yurtsevsky, Yakshinsky . On June 18, 1954, as a result of enlargement, the village councils were liquidated: Danilovsky, Ivankovsky, Ivashkovsky, Yakshinsky, Sretensky, Sorokhtsky, Stroevo-Gorsky; The Krasnovsky and Kuznetsovsky village councils are united in Bereznikovsky, Brizinsky and Yurtsevsky - in Sedelnitsky . On May 4, 1961, the Grobishchevsky, Dmitrievsky and Sedelnitsky village councils were abolished , and the Pistsovsky village council was formed .

On February 1, 1963, the district was liquidated, all of its village councils entered the Ivanovo rural district , and the city of Komsomolsk and urban-type settlements of Markovo , Oktyabrsky , Pissovo and Podozersky entered the Ivanovo industrial region . January 13, 1965 as part of the city of Komsomolsk , the working villages of Markovo , Oktyabrsky , Pisovo , Podozersky and village councils: Bereznikovsky, Gubtsevsky, Kulebervsky, Milovsky, Mikheevsky, Mytishchi, Nikolsky, Pistsovsky, Svetikovsky, Tyugaevsky and Shatrovsky [3] . On August 12, 1974, the Milovsky Village Council was renamed Komsomolsky , Gubtsevsky was abolished and the Sedelnitsky Village Council was formed . In November 1976, the Bereznikovsky and Tyugaevsky village councils were merged into the Koromyslovsky village council . In 1979, the Komsomolsky village council was renamed Danilovsky [4] . On November 2, 1983, the Mytishchi village council was renamed Novousadebsky .

As of January 1, 2001, the district included: the city of Komsomolsk , urban-type settlements of Markovo , Oktyabrsky , Pisovo , Podozersky and village councils: Danilovsky, Koromyslovsky, Kuleberyevsky, Mikheevsky, Nikolsky, Novousadebsky , Pissovsky, Svetikovsky, Sedelitsky and Shatrovsky [5] .

On February 25, 2005, in accordance with the Law of the Ivanovo Region No. 43-OZ [6] , 6 municipalities were formed in the district: 1 urban and 5 rural settlements. The working villages of Markovo , Oktyabrsky , Pissovo , Podozersky are assigned to rural settlements.

On October 12, 2005, Moruyevo village, Nikulskoye village (Pistsovskoye rural settlement), Novo village and Rumyantsevo village (Novousadebskoye rural settlement) were excluded from the accounting data [19] .

Economics

In the area, rye , oats , wheat , barley , peas , rape , potatoes , vegetables are grown . Dairy and beef cattle breeding is developing.
