The Government of Alexis Tsipras is the former government of Greece , operating from January 15, 2015 to August 28, 2015.

After winning the SYRIZA party in the early parliamentary elections on January 25, 2015, its leader Alexis Tsipras managed to form a new coalition government, merging with the center-right Independent Greeks (ANEL) party [1] . As a result, Alexis Tsipras himself became the new Prime Minister of Greece [2] . And the next day, on January 27, 2015, a new composition of the government was announced, which included 20 people [3] [4] .
The composition of the government included representatives of three parties - SYRIZA , Independent Greeks , Environmental Greens and non-partisan ministers.
Structural changes include the creation of four new ministries [3] [5] :
- Ministry of the Interior and Administrative Reform;
- Ministry of Economy, Infrastructure, Navy and Tourism;
- Ministry of Industrial Reconstruction, Environment and Energy;
- Ministry of Culture, Education and Religion.
