Geography
The village is located 10 km south-west of the center of the village settlement of Balakhonki and 22 km west of Ivanovo .
History
A stone church with a bell tower and a fence in the village was built around the second half of the 18th century at the expense of the landowner Alexei Ivanovich Shafrov. There were two thrones in the church: in the cold - in honor of the Smolensk Icon of the Mother of God and in the warm chapel - in the name of St. Sergius of Radonezh the Wonderworker. In the village there was a zemstvo public school [2] .
In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Kochnevsky volost of the Shuisky district of Vladimir province . In 1859 [3] in the village there were 14 yards, in 1905 [4] - 32 yards.
