History
In Pischugova Desert, in ancient times, there was the Nikolaev Monastery. The monastery was founded at the beginning of the XVII century, and was abolished during the establishment of the monastery states in 1764. The monument of that monastery is the stone one-throne Preobrazhensky church, built in 1702 by the stolnik Fedor Vladimirovich Shilov. The church had ancient icons, including the icon of John the Baptist, donated, as the inscription shows on it, to the monastery in 1655 by the old man Savvaty. At the Transfiguration Church there was another stone two-story church, built at the expense of the descendants of the stolnik Shilov. There were two thrones in this church: on the lower floor - warm - in honor of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God, and on the upper floor - cold - in honor of the Nativity of the Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John. At the church there was a stone bell tower. In 1891, a parish school was opened in the priest’s house [2] .
In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Milovskaya volost of the Shuisky district of Vladimir province . In 1859 [3] in the village there were 16 yards, in 1905 [4] - 39 yards.
