KrAZ-6322 Raptor

The development of the armored version of the KrAZ-6322 was started on the basis of an analysis of the experience of local wars of the 1990s - early 2000s and the Iraq war that began in 2003 , in which the contingent of the Ukrainian armed forces took part ^[2] .

In 2003-2005 the KrAZ-6322 police armored version was developed for special units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine , designed for operations in riots. The machine, called ABC-30 , had a bulldozer blade , side screens to protect the wheels, grilles to protect glass blocks from mechanical damage (stick strikes, abandoned stones, etc.), special signals , a loudspeaker and a water cannon ^[2] .

In 2006, there were cases of local booking by the Iraqi army of trucks of the KrAZ-6322 model delivered under the US military assistance program for the Iraqi armed forces , however, the re-equipment of these trucks was proactive and was not standardized ^[2] .

Also, in 2006, the Italian company Vehicle Engineering manufactured a small series of standardized KrAZ-6322 armored trucks for the UN contingent in one of the countries of Southeast Asia, which received full outdoor reservations from steel sheets and ceramic plates on a frame of rectangular pipes and replacement glazing on bulletproof glass blocks ^[2] .

At the same time, work on the creation of a standardized armored version of the KrAZ-6322 was started by specialists of the Kremenchug Automobile Plant, as a result, together with the Canadian company Streit Group , the armored truck KrAZ-6322 NMPV-A was created, which was officially presented at the international arms exhibition IDEX-2007 in February 2007 ^{[2] [3]} and hereinafter - proposed for export to foreign customers ^[4] .

In 2008, the car was tested in Pakistan ^[5] .

In 2013, Ares Security Vehicles LLC ( Dubai , UAE ) introduced another version of the armored vehicle on the KrAZ-6322 chassis (called Panthera 6X6 Krazz ) ^[6]

After the outbreak of hostilities in eastern Ukraine in the spring of 2014, the needs of Ukrainian security forces in armored vehicles and armored vehicles increased. In August 2014, the manufacture of an armored version of the KrAZ-6322 of its own design was mastered by the Kiev company ZAO NPO Praktika ^[7] .

On November 21, 2014, the Kremenchug Automobile Plant introduced the KrAZ-6322 version “ Raptor ”with enhanced reservation ^[8] .

In October 2015, the Kiev company Reform LLC introduced another version of the armored KrAZ-6322 ^[9] .

• KrAZ-6322 НМРV-А - 2007 export version with cabin and fuel tank reservation, joint development of AvtoKrAZ OJSC and Streit Group . Booking STANAG 4569 Level 1 , curb weight - 14,400 kg, load capacity - 8,000 kg ^[4] . Offered for export as a “ convoy escort vehicle with hidden local booking ”, it is possible to install an armored module for 20 people in the body (in this case, the total weight of the armor increases to 5 tons). Due to the fact that it was possible to operate the machine in desert conditions and in countries with hot tropical climates, the demonstration model was equipped with an air intake ^[2] . The cost of manufacturing one armored KrAZ-6322 in 2012 prices included the cost of a truck (900,000 hryvnias ), the cost of a set of materials and fixtures (26,169 hryvnias) and the costs of refurbishing a car ^[10] .
• KrAZ-6322 " Raptor ” - version of 2014 with enhanced booking, joint development of AvtoKrAZ OJSC and Streit Group ^[8] . Booking CEN Level BR6, weight of the equipped vehicle - 21 000 kg, load capacity - 4200 kg, a removable armored module for 24 people is installed in the body ^[1] , on the left and right side of which there are six embrasures for firing from small arms, aft - double doors with two embrasures for firing, in the roof - hatches. A searchlight-spotlight is installed on the roof of the cabin; there is no air intake ^[11] . February 9, 2015 AvtoKrAZ CEO R.E. Chernyak said that in the KrAZ Raptor armored car, the share of the Ukrainian component reaches 80% ^[12] .

• KrAZ-5233 " Raptor " - an option based on the biaxial KrAZ-5233 BE, first introduced in February 2015. It can carry up to 20 people ^[13]

• KrAZ-6332 " Fortetsya on Wheels ” is a variant of 2014 developed by ZAO NPO Praktika ^[7] . In the completed version, the KrAZ-6322 has an armored cabin, a fuel tank, a centralized tire inflation receiver and a battery, and an armored kung ^[14] for 23 people is installed in the body, equipped with lighting, a heater and a filter-ventilation unit with a system for extracting powder gases. Unlike the KrAZ-6322 Raptor, there are four embrasures in the port and starboard side ^[15] . In December 2014, the cost of one armored vehicle was 75 thousand US dollars ^{[16] [17]} .
• KrAZ-6322 "Outpost" - a variant of 2015, developed by "Reform" LLC, is equipped with a removable armored capsule with reinforced mine protection for 18-20 people, which can be moved to another chassis or used as a roadblock. The cabin is armored, the capsule with a V-shaped bottom has 5 loopholes in the left and right sides, as well as double doors in the stern with two loopholes, equipped with a ventilation system, fire extinguishing means, lighting and intercom ^{[9] [18]} .
