Malthodes ceranowiczae (lat.) - fossil species of soft-beetles of the genus Malthodes . Found in European amber ( Poland , Baltic amber , about 35 Ma). Small beetles, body length 2.7 mm (brown), elytra 1.28 mm long. The species was first described in 2005 by Polish entomologists A. Kushka ( Antoni Kuśka , 1940–2010; Department of Biological Sciences, Academy of Physical Education Katowice, Katowice , Poland ) and Janusz Kupryjanowicz ; Institute of Biology, Bialystok ). Similar to Malthodes sucini Kuśka & Kania, 2010 [1] [2] .
