Navabad ( dari نو آباد ) is a village in the north-east of Afghanistan , in the province (province) Badakhshan . It is part of the Zebak district.

Geographical position
Navabad is located in the southeast of Badakhshan, in the highlands, on the left bank of the Vazhlina river valley, at a distance of about 91 kilometers southeast of the city of Fayzabad , the administrative center of Vilayat. The absolute height is 2607 meters above sea level [1] . The nearest settlements are Khalkhan village, Shinguk village.

The language of the majority of the Navabad population is Dari [2] .

The main branch of the economy is agriculture . The main crops grown in the surrounding fields are wheat and corn [2] .
