Biography
From the late 1970s to the early 1990s, she was one of the leading chess players in Bulgaria. In 1973, in Novi Sad, she won the international girls chess tournament. In 1974, in Plovdiv, at the international women's chess tournament, she shared third place with Elizabeth Polychroniada . In 1976, in Athens, she won the Balkan countries chess championship among girls [1] . Multiple winner of the women's chess championships in Bulgaria, where she won six gold (1980, 1982, 1984 (in the last two she shared the first place with Margarita Voiska ), 1987, 1989, 1991) and a bronze (1979) medal.
