Early years
Jane Widlin was born in Okonomowok, Waukesha County, Wisconsin, a suburb of Milwaukee. [6] [7] Her father, Robert Widlin Sr., a maxillofacial surgeon, was born in Chicago , Illinois , and has German and Swiss roots. Her mother, Betty Jane (née Guerro), is of Lebanese descent, originally from Okonomovok, where many immigrants from Lebanon settled. Weedlin's parents met while studying at Marquette University, and then got married. Jane spent her early childhood in West Allis, another suburb of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is one of five children, has one sister and three brothers, and grew up in a Catholic family. When Widlin was six years old, her father took a job at the Department of Veterans Affairs in the United States, at VA Hospital in Los Angeles, and her family followed them.
As a child, Weedlin loved to listen to the pop music of the 1960s, especially the songs of The Beatles and The Monkees. When she was a teenager, Weedlin was a fan of Sparks. Years later, she recorded “Cool Places” with them. Weedlin said: "I remember my childhood as very idyllic . " Widlin also referred to adolescence with humor and said: “I was definitely a depressed teenager. I thought that life was completely meaningless when I was in high school, but just a few years later the adventure of a lifetime in a successful rock band happened to me! ” Weedlin attended William Howard Taft High School in Los Angeles from 1972 to 1976.
Career
Best known as rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist for the female group The Go-Go. Widlin later began a solo musical career, recorded four studio albums.
Also acts in films and on television, is engaged in voice acting. On her account more than forty works.
Personal life
In 1987-1999, Jane was married to Jed Malone.
In 2004-2005, Jane was married to David Trotter [8] .
