Biography
Catherine Corsini was born on May 18, 1956 in the town of Dre, in the department of Ayr and Loire in France. At the age of 18, she moved to Paris, where she took acting classes in Antoine Vitez and Michel Bouquet.
The debut feature film “Poker” Catherine Corsini put on her own script in 1987. Her 2001 film "Rehearsal" opened the 54th Cannes Film Festival. The Corsini film “Three Worlds” (2010) was presented at the 65th Cannes International Film Festival 2012 in the “Special Look” section.
In 2015, the drama of Catherine Corsini about the love relationship of two women “The Warm Season” with Cecil de France and Isea Heather in leading roles came out. In February 2016, the tape was nominated in two categories for the French national film award “César” - for the best female role (Cecil de France) and the best female supporting role (Noemi Lvovski) [2] .
In May 2016, Catherine Corsini led the Golden Camera jury at the 69th Cannes International Film Festival [3] .
