Biography

He was born on October 11, 1872 in the city of Lovich , Varashava province .

Start of Service

He graduated from the Polotsk Cadet Corps and the 2nd Military Konstantinovsky School . He began his service in 1892 in the 133rd Infantry Regiment of Simferopol . Then he served in the 16th artillery brigade .

In 1901 he graduated from the Nikolaev Academy of the General Staff . He was the chief officer for special assignments at the headquarters of the 2nd Army Corps .

He participated in the Russian-Japanese war . He served as headquarters officer for special assignments under the leadership of the Quartermaster General of the 2nd Manchu Army .

In 1908-1914 he was a clerk in the General Directorate of the General Staff [1] .

Participation in World War I

During the First World War : commander of the Kremenchug 32nd Infantry Regiment [2] , brigade commander in the 79th Infantry Division , chief of staff of the 12th Siberian Rifle Division , chief of staff of the 109th Infantry Division , chief of staff of the 27th Army Corps . Major General [1] .

Civil War

In 1918, he voluntarily joined the Red Army . He held the posts of chief of operations of the headquarters of the 2nd Army , and then chief of staff of the 2nd Army. In 1921, he was the head of the troop training department of the headquarters of a separate Caucasian army [1] .

After the Civil War

In the 1930s, he taught military affairs at the Moscow Machine-Tool Institute [3] .

Arrested on November 29, 1937. Three UNKVD in the Moscow region 12/9/1937 sentenced to death for counter-revolutionary agitation. He was shot on December 11, 1937 at the Butovo training ground . Rehabilitated in 1989 [4] .
