Content
Story
The protagonist is an 11-year-old boy named Aslan. One day he finds a dog named Sivas. Sivas participated in dog battles, but lost, seriously injured. The owners of Sivas, deciding that he will die anyway, abandon him. Aslan notices that the dog is still alive and thanks to him Sivas survives. Aslan takes Sivas, but fate prepares them new trials [5] [6] [7] [8] .
Criticism
The film was sent from Turkey to the Oscars , but did not enter the shortlist [9] . Also nominated for the Golden Globe [10] .
Sivas was shown at the Moscow International Film Festival [11] , at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival [12] , as well as at the annual Turkish Film Festival [13] .
Rewards
