Bodog Felix Beck ( Bodog Felix Beck ; 1871, Budapest - January 1, 1942, Kingston , NY) is an American doctor of Hungarian descent, a specialist in apitherapy , even called her "father" in the United States [2] . His works on it were reprinted, and he himself received universal recognition in this area. The main work of “Bee venom therapy” (1935, reprint. 1981, 1997) [3] . MD (MD).

He received a degree in medicine from the University of Budapest (1892). According to some reports, he served in the Austro-Hungarian army. He was married since 1906. He is called a highly educated and polyglot [4] .
By 1899 he lived and worked as a doctor in the United States. In 1919, he naturalized as a citizen. He is called "who brought apitherapy to the USA" [5] . For many years he worked at St. Mark's Hospital and conducted private practice in New York. He specialized in the treatment of arthritic and rheumatoid conditions using bee venom .
From childhood, he was a beekeeper and used for the treatment of bees, which he bred himself, in particular on his windowsill [4] .
Bees, and especially bee treatment, were the passion of his whole life, the center of his research interest, he collected a considerable collection of both literature and art objects and other things dedicated to them.
A prominent apitherapy activist in the United States will be his student Charles Mraz.
