Biography
Italian by origin. He studied under the architect Franz (Frantisek) Maximilian Kank . He later worked with his uncle Bartolomeo Scotty.
In 1727 received the rights of a citizen of Mala Strana Prague. For some time he worked as an assistant to the architect Kilian Ignaz Dintsenhofer , and after his death, he inherited the position of court architect.
Since 1752, the court architect Maria Theresa , was engaged in the reconstruction of the Prague Castle according to plans developed by Nicolo Pacassi.
