2020 European Figure Skating Championships - competition among European figure skaters in the 2019/2020 season. The competition will be held from January 20 to 26, 2020 in the second largest Austrian city of Graz [1] [2] . Athletes will perform in the men's and women's single skating, pair figure skating and ice dancing categories.

Venue
In June 2017, in the capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam, at the ISU session, two applications were received for the 2020 European Championship [3] . In addition to the Austrian city, the capital of Croatia Zagreb claimed to host the championship. The ISU session granted Austria this right for the twelfth time; Graz will host the continental championship for the first time.
Members
The championship is attended by skaters from European countries - members of the International Skating Union (European countries also include Israel , Turkey , Georgia , Armenia , Azerbaijan ) who have reached the age of 15 at the time of July 1, 2019.
Following the results of the European Championship in 2019, each country has the right to exhibit from one to three athletes in each discipline. National federations draw up an application on the basis of their own criteria, but the selected skaters must achieve a minimum technical assessment of the elements in an international competition before the European Championship.
