Immanuel , Emmanuel , Imanuel ( Heb. עִמָּנוּאֵל ) is an Israeli settlement and local council in the West Bank of the River Jordan , in Samaria . Imanuel was founded in 1983 .

History
Imanuel was founded in 1983 and named after the legendary child from the book of the Prophet Isaiah [3] , and in 1985 he received the status of a local council.
