Biography
Stefan Della Rover was born on February 25, 1990 in the Canadian city of Richmond Hill from Ontario . He later moved to the city of Maple, northwest of Toronto. In Maple, he graduated from the St. John of Arc Catholic School. He played in the Toronto Youth Hockey League for various clubs and the city team. In the 2006/07 season, Barris Colts joined the Ontario Hockey League. He played for the team until 2010, in 2009 he also played several matches for South Carolina Stingrays.
In 2009 he was called up to the youth team of Canada, became the world champion among youth teams. The following year, he also played for the team at the world championship, won silver medals.
In 2008, in the NHL draft, the rights to hockey players were assigned to the Washington Capitals club. In 2010, the club traded it for DJ King at the St. Louis Blues Club. On December 1, 2010, Stefan made his debut in the National Hockey League, and in a match against his former Washington team.
September 28, 2014 moved to the club of the American Hockey League "Toronto Marlies." He played for the affiliate team of the Orlando Solar Bears club in the East Coast Hockey League.
In 2015, he left the North American continent, signed a contract with the Italian club Valpellice. He started the 2016/17 season at Fass, and during the season he moved to the Scottish club Brechead Clan.
