History
The village of Bely was founded in 1911 . In 1928, there were 29 households in Bely, 112 people lived. Administratively, the village was part of the Nizhnebulakhtinsky village council of the Altai region of the Biysk district of the Siberian region [2] .
Geography
The village is located in the south-eastern part of the Altai Territory, on the banks of the Bulukhta River, at a distance of about 28 kilometers (in a straight line) south of the village of Altai , the administrative center of the region. The absolute height is 824 meters above sea level [3] . The climate is temperate continental with warm summers and moderately frosty snowy winters. The average temperature in January is -16.8ºС, in July - + 19.2ºС. The annual rainfall is 937 mm [4] .
