Bobruisk Oblast ( Belorussian. Babruysk Oblast ) is an administrative unit in the territory of the Byelorussian SSR that existed from September 20, 1944 to April 26, 1954 , when it was abolished during the process of enlargement of regions. It was located in the center and southeast of the republic.

The administrative center is the city of Bobruisk .
Formed by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the USSR from parts of the Minsk , Mogilev and Polesie regions , abolished on January 8, 1954 by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the USSR , the administrative districts became part of the Gomel , Minsk and Mogilev regions . The city of Bobruisk became part of the Mogilev region . After 3, 5 months, on April 26, the Supreme Soviet of the USSR approved the liquidation of the region [1] .
Administrative Division
The region was divided into 14 districts: Bobruisk , Glussky , Gressky , Kirovsky , Klichevsky , Kopylsky , Krasnoslobodsky , Lyubansky , Oktyabrsky , Osipovichsky , Parichsky , Slutsky , Starobinsky and Starodorozhsky .
