Biography
Born on May 7, 1900 on a farm Barmakovsky Orsky district [K 1] in a Russian peasant family. He graduated from grade 4. He participated in the Civil War , was the squadron commander [2] .
In the 1930s he moved to Belovo , worked at a zinc factory [2] .
In August 1941, he was drafted into the Red Army , from March 1942 - in the battles of the Great Patriotic War . He commanded the department of the 204th Engineer-Battalion (31st Engineer-Brigade, 31st Army, 3rd Belorussian Front ) [2] .
Leading a group of barriers in the area of the village of Lepolaty ( Lithuania ), on the night of October 12, 1944, under continuous mortar fire, he made 2 passes in enemy minefields, removed and neutralized many anti-tank and anti-personnel mines. On the night of October 13, 1944, along with other sappers, he plopped up to the enemy’s wire fence and made 2 passes in it with elongated charges for the rifle units to reach the lines of attack. 11/6/1944 awarded the Order of Glory 3 degrees [2] .
When breaking through the enemy’s defense 2 km south-east of the village of Goldap ( Poland ), on the night of 01/15/1944, under the fire of enemy machine guns, he made a passage with his squad up to 15 m wide in mine and wire fences, ensuring the advance of the advancing units. 03/17/1945 awarded the Order of Glory 2 degrees, 12/21/1951 re-awarded the Order of Glory 1 degree [2] .
In the battle for the city of Heilsberg in East Prussia on 10/02/1945, he replaced the out-of-command platoon commander and fearlessly led the soldiers to storm the enemy’s positions. 7.3.1945 awarded the Order of Glory 2 degrees [2] .
In 1945, demobilized as a foreman . He lived in the city of Belovo, Kemerovo region, worked at a zinc factory [2] .
