Biography
Born in 1922 in the Zhytomyr region . In his youth, he participated in the liberation of the country from invaders during the Great Patriotic War . With the battles came to Germany . He participated in the battles from May 1942 to May 9, 1945. For military merits, he was awarded the Order of the Red Star , the medal "For the Capture of Konigsberg . " He was a participant in the parade of Soviet troops , which took place on June 24, 1945 in Moscow on Red Square .
In 1953 he arrived from Eastern Ukraine to Sokiryansky district , Chernivtsi region . He worked as secretary of the party organization of the collective farm in the village of Serbichany , and from 1959 to 1978 as chairman of this farm.
During his chairmanship, the productivity of grain and industrial crops increased, more equipment became available on fields and farms, and the distribution of feed and milking of cows was mechanized. An administrative building and a kindergarten have been built, and a canteen, dispensary and a bathhouse for livestock workers. A tractor team and a workshop for repairing equipment were built at the new site.
Serbian farm has become one of the best in the area. 6 field units and a gardening team worked here. In the livestock industry, the number of cattle reached up to 3.5 thousand heads, including 400 cows. 800-1000 pigs were raised on a pig farm, sheep and poultry farming were well developed. For his activities, Antonik received the Order of Lenin (1973) and the Order of the Badge of Honor .
Together with his wife, Nikolai Antonik raised three children.
