Selga River ( Udega ) - a river in Petrozavodsk and the Prionezhsky region of the Republic of Karelia. It flows from the Long Lake, flows into the Petrozavodsk Bay of Lake Onega, 500 meters south of the Petrozavodsk sewage treatment plant. Along the river is the Selga River Park. [2] The catchment area is 21 km². [2]

The relief of the basin is a moraine undulating plain with prevailing heights from 160-140 m above sea level in the upper reaches and to 33 m at the mouth.
The average water discharge at the mouth of the river is 0.20 m³ / s. [2]
Potamonym Selga River comes from the Karelian ‚šelkä 'or the Veps‚ selg' - ridge, hill, hill [3] .
The river in the area of the Poultry Factory is partially polluted by agricultural runoff [4] .
