The 2002 European Athletics All-Around Cup was held on June 29-30 at the Zdzislaw Krzyszkowiak Stadium in Bydgoszcz ( Poland ). At the same time, a tournament in the First League was held in Riga , and in the Second League in Slovenian Maribor . The participants fought for a team victory in the competition of men and women.

Each team was represented by four athletes. In total, 64 all-rounders from 13 countries took to the start. The best teams in the team event were determined by the sum of the results of the three best participants. According to the results of the competition, the two worst teams lost the right to participate in the Super League for the next year.
