Aitkhalloy [1] ( Chech. Aithkhalla ) is one of the Chechen taipas , whose representatives come from the territorial group ( tukhuma ) of Nokhchmakhmakhoy , the taip is settled mainly in the eastern part of Chechnya [2] .

History
According to the tribal teppar, representatives of the typhs aitkhala, sesana and ishkh are descendants of a certain Garden that came from Nashkh and settled in the town of Gudukkh, which is located near the current village of Sayasan [3] .
The famous Chechen scientist A.S.Suleymanov in his work “Toponymy of Chechnya” indicates that Aitkalli is called Aita, who came from Nashkh and founded the village of Ait-Khayl, as his ancestor [4] . Geography
Ethnic society was located between Enikali , Guna , Sherdy-Mokhk , on the Gums River and included the following villages: Regita (Aitkhalloyn regӀa-tee), Aitkala (Aitkhalla), Achereshki (Acharshka), Gunin Khutor (Gunin kotar), Jagar ZagӀ-Lergie), Dzhankhoi-Khutor (ZagӀ-Ӏin kӀotar), Niki- Khita (NikӀin hitӀa), and the oldest settlements - Achereshka, Ait-Khailla or ZagI-Iin-kotar - did not survive.
Due to frequent landslides, it was abandoned, and the inhabitants settled in other settlements, as well as on the plain. Nowadays, in addition to Acharashka, Nikin-hit'a, ZhagI-Lergie, Regӏa-tӏe, aitkallins live in cities and villages both in Chechnya and in Dagestan: Azamat-Yurt , Argun , Achkhoy-Martan , Valerik (village) , Geldagan , Gudermes , Dzhalka (village) , Znamenskoye (Chechnya) , Komsomolskoye , Koshkeldy , Kurchaloy , Melchhi , Mesker-Yurt , Oyskhara , Stariye Atagi , Urus-Martan , Khidi-Khutor , Chechen-Aul , Enikali , Yalkhoi-Mokhk and others [ 5] .
Toponyms with the ethnonym of this Taip
"Aitkhalla" - a tract in the Gums Valley south of the current village of Enikali . Here was the first settlement of the founder of Ait. Before the foundation of the village of Aitkala, this place was called ZhagӀ-Ӏin - "gravel gorge." Due to frequent landslides, the village was abandoned, and the inhabitants founded the new village of Achereshka .
Aitkhalloyn Keshnash is a cemetery on the southern outskirts of the Ayt-Khalla Lattinchu tract.
In the 19th century, the village of Aitkala was located on the banks of the Aksai River, whose inhabitants were resettled in Malaya Chechnya [6] .
