Service history

Laid down on July 3, 1914, at the Noblessner plant in Revel. It was launched on April 13, 1916, on November 4 of the same year, was commissioned, and was based in the town of Revel.

She took part in the First World War, made 6 combat campaigns.

From October 25, 1917 - as part of the Red Baltic Fleet.

In February 1918, she moved from Revel to Helsingfors , in April 1918 - to Kronstadt

From August 15 to September 13, 1918 she was in Shlisselburg, she underwent combat training on Lake Ladoga .

From 1919 to 1920 - as part of the bunker , in 1921 - as part of the Baltic Sea Marine Forces.

December 31, 1922 received the name "Bolshevik", from September 15, 1934 - "B-3".

Since 1935 - as part of the 2nd Brigade of submarines of the Baltic Fleet based on Leningrad.

Doom

On July 25, 1935, during exercises in the Gulf of Finland, the battleship Marat was rammed and sank at a depth of 52 meters. 55 people were killed, including a group of cadets.

In 1935 raised by the rescue ship " Commune ". August 4, 1935 in Kronstadt, the solemn funeral of the dead submariners.

In 1951, it was cut into metal [1] .
