Geography

The village is located in the southeastern part of the Astrakhan region, on the right bank of the Tyurin channel of the Volga river delta , at a distance of about 6 kilometers (as the crow flies) to the east-northeast (ENE) from the village Volodarsky , the administrative center of the district. The absolute height is 24 meters below sea ​​level [2] . The climate is temperate, sharply continental. It is characterized by high temperatures in summer and low temperatures in winter, low precipitation, as well as large annual and summer daily temperature amplitudes.
