Game career

Started playing football in the Kiev team "Sunrise". The first trainer is Oleg Omelchenko [1] . In the championship, DUFLU played for " Prince " (Happy) and "Change-Obolon" (Kiev). In 2010-2011, he played for the DYuSSh-15 team in the Kiev championship . In 2012, he became a player in the Obolon Premier League club, spent 6 matches in the youth championship and 5 in the Second League for the second team [2] .

In 2013, he signed a contract with Lugansk " Dawn ". For several seasons he was a player in the youth squad. In the 2012/13 season, he became the champion of Ukraine among youth teams [2] . He made his debut for the main squad on August 24, 2014 in the Ukrainian Cup match against Flint , which ended 5-0 in favor of Zorya.

In February 2016 he transferred on a rental basis to the Desna First League club (Chernihiv) [3] . The first match as a part of the team was played on March 26 against Helios (1-0) [4] . In the second half of the 2015/16 season he was a base player, went on the field in all matches. He played mainly on the left flank of midfield [5] . The next season he continued to perform as part of Desna. During the summer camp, he scored a goal against the vice-champion of Iran , Tehran Persepolis [6] . On September 25, 2016, he scored two goals in the match with the strong “ Rock ” [7] .

In January 2017, he terminated the contract with Zarya [8] . On March 2, 2017, he signed a contract with Desna for a period of 3 years [9] . During the spring part of the season for a long time did not play due to injury. For the first time in 2017, he entered the field on May 4 in a match with Skala (5: 2) [10] [11] . At the end of the season, Desna won the First League silver medals, gaining the right to upgrade in class [12] .

Team Career

At the age of 15, he played for the youth team of Ukraine (under 17 years old) .

In 2013-2014, he was a player in the national team under 19 years old . In July 2014, he took part in three matches of the final tournament of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in Hungary [19] [20] . Since 2014, he was called up to the youth team until the age of 20 .

In August 2017, he received a call to the student team of Ukraine to participate in the summer Universiade in Taipei [14] . In preparation for the tournament, the national team held control matches with the backup teams of Kiev Dynamo (2: 3) and Donetsk Shakhtar (1: 0). Banasevich took part in both games, scored a goal against Dynamo [21] [22] . On August 20, 2017, he made his debut at the Universiade in a match against South Africa (2-0) [23] . In the following games, the team met with South Korea (0: 5) and Argentina (2: 1), as a result, taking second place in Group D [24] [25] . In the 1/4 final match, the Ukrainian team lost to Mexico with a score of 0: 2 [26] , after which in the draw 5-8 places lost to Italy (1: 2) and beat Argentina (2: 0), taking the final 7th place [ 15] [27] . Banasevich took part in all 6 matches of the national team at the tournament [28] .

In children's football for a long time he played in the center of the attack, and from the age of 14 he began to play the position of an extreme midfielder.
