The commune is located in the northern part of vilayet, at an altitude of 456 meters above sea level on an area of 27 km 2 [1] .
The municipality is located approximately 96 kilometers east of the capital of Algeria [2] and 62 kilometers east of the administrative center of the province of Boumerdes [3] .
