Sarskhavr ( Dari سر سخور ) is a village in the north-east of Afghanistan , in the province (province) Badakhshan . It is part of the Wahan region.

Geographical position
Sarskhavr is located in the northeast of Badakhshan, in the highlands, on the left bank of the Panj River , near the confluence of the small river Sarskhavr, approximately 126 kilometers east-southeast (ESE) from the city of Faizabad , the administrative center of Vilayat. The absolute height is 2709 meters above sea level [1] . The nearest settlements are the village of Urup (upstream of the Panj), the village of Langar (downstream of the Panj).
