Biography
Born July 28, 1951 in the city of Sovetskaya Gavan, Khabarovsk Territory, RSFSR. She graduated from the Faculty of History of Belarusian State University ( Minsk , 1973) and graduate school of the Institute of Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR with a degree in Archeology (1978).
After graduation, she worked as a researcher at the Nikolaev Museum of Local Lore (1973-1974), a senior laboratory assistant of the South-Bug and Zaporizhzhya expeditions of the Institute of Archeology of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1974-1975).
After graduating from graduate school, he was a researcher at the Institute of Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR (since 1978).
In 1980, at the Institute of Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR under the guidance of a doctor of historical sciences, Professor A.I. Terenozhkina defended her thesis “Stucco ceramics of the Steppe Scythia” (specialty 07.00.06 - archeology). [one]
Since 1996 & year - Head of the Department "Field Committee of the Institute of Archeology of NAS of Ukraine.
In 2000, at the Institute of the History of Material Culture ( St. Petersburg , Russia ) she defended her doctoral dissertation “Stepan Scythia of the 7th – 4th centuries. BC. (ecological and economic aspect) ”(specialty 07.00.06 - archeology). [2]
Scientific activity
N. A. Gavrilyuk - compiler and leader of the authorial team of the “Dictionary of Archeology” (1996), author of ceramological publications in periodicals and collections, member of the National Expert Ceramological Council of the annual National Contests of Publications on the topics of ceramology, pottery , ceramics in Ukraine “ KeGoKe ”(since 2007). Founder (1998) and editor-in-chief (since 2001) of the yearbook “Archaeological Discoveries in Ukraine”. Scientific consultant of the Bakhchisaray archaeological expedition [3] .
