Biography
Born in the village of Aleksandrovka in the Gaysky district of the Orenburg province on November 10, 1924 in a large peasant family. From the age of 14 he worked on a collective farm.
In October 1942, he was drafted into the Red Army, commander of the 934th separate communications battalion of the 42nd Rifle Corps (Central, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Belorussian fronts), sergeant. He was awarded the medals “For Courage”, “For the Capture of Koenigsberg”, “For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945”, orders of the Red Star, World War II degree.
After demobilization since 1948, he worked as a student of a filterman, a filterman, a senior apparatchik in workshop No. 2 of the South Ural Nickel Plant.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 30, 1971, for the outstanding successes achieved in the development of non-ferrous metallurgy, he was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor.
He was awarded two medals "For Labor Distinction" (1954, 1966).
Since 1975, retired.
He died on May 23, 2017 in Orsk.
